[What the role is] As an Assistant Manager in the Finance Division, you will support the treasury and investment management activities of the Agency. [What you will be working on] Your responsibilities include the following:
• Perform treasury activities related to cash flow projection, portfolio investments, borrowings, debt, and capital management • Monitor and assist in preparation of reports on the returns and risk performance of investment portfolios and external fund managers • Assist in ensuring compliance with investment policy and guidelines and any statutory legislation • Maintain accurate records of all investment activities and transactions • Conduct research and analyse investments and green bond requirements • Administer debt financing programme including monitoring debt compliance and servicing debt obligations • Coordinate with legal teams and financial advisors on documentation for bond placement • Support the development and review of treasury policies and procedures • Maintain financial models and analytical tools • Handle accounting and statutory reporting requirements • Prepare investment committee presentations and meeting materials and provide secretariat support to the committee • Assist in procurement of service providers and management of contracts
[What we are looking for] This role might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration or related field • 2-5 years of relevant experience in treasury, investments, or financial services • Strong knowledge of financial markets and products • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including financial modelling) and intermediate PowerPoint skills • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Bloomberg terminal • Working knowledge of local regulatory environment related to finance, accounting and tax requirements • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI or Qlik Sense) and/or basic knowledge of Python for financial data analysis would be an advantage • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities • Detail-oriented with good planning and problem-solving abilities • Good communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and in teams • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities • Able to meet deadlines and deliver quality work
