Schedules resources and automotive equipment relating to daily operations in support of a funeral home and/or care center. Ensures that adequate coverage is available and scheduled to provide a superior service to client family, while maximizing the full potential use of company human and physical resources in accordance with established budgetary standards.
An opportunity exists for a part-time dispatcher at the Vancouver personal care center.
We are the largest hub in the Greater Vancouver area with 10+ funeral homes.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
• Commitment to excellence and customer service • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Initiative in the ability to work well in a team environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal • Ability to make sound and concise decisions • Must be task oriented with the ability to work alone • Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-pressure environment • Full commitment to company objectives and policies • Computer skills are a necessity with the ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel • This position has permanent part-time hours and the days will be Saturday, Sunday and Mondays with the requirement to fill-in for vacation and sick time for the other two permanent employees.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset • High level of compassion and integrity • Good communication skills
Pay
• The pay rate is $25.91 per hour with increases at 6 months and 1 year.
