Summary Statement:
Under general supervision the Laborer will assist in the performance of semi-skilled tasks in maintenance and repairs. The Laborer will perform general tasks within facilities and other work necessary as required to meet company needs.
Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:
• Exceptional service and recovery ability working with internal and external guests. • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects. • Participate in performance management. • Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repairs of facilities. • Perform any other related job duties as assigned. • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. • Assists Maintenance Technicians in developing methods and procedures to control or improve Facilities processes. • Provides assistance to all departments including but not limited to: Furniture relocations and installation, office modifications, etc. • Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work. • Proven knowledge of safe operation of powered and non-powered hand tools. • Perform routine cleaning of work areas. • Shop area clean-up and supply. • Forklift operation. • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team. • Clean/clear debris and hazardous materials.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds. • Ability to work in various environments (hot/cold/outdoors)• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.• Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.• Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
Preferred:
• Forklift/scissor lift/boom lift operator training. • At least 1 year of experience in a similar resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
• At least 21 years of age. • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. • Ability to obtain the following: • Nevada Drivers License • OSHA 10
