To meet our challenges we are looking for a Quality Manager within the Quality team to be based at our Gokak unit.
Purpose The purpose of Quality Manager role is responsible for managing, developing and optimizing customer satisfaction through stringent implementation and monitoring of quality parameters, process improvement and ultimately scoring high on customer delight.

Key Accountabilities:
Guarantee the Customer satisfaction and ensure the Quality performances by:
• Contributing actively to the Group Quality strategy, policy and standards definition as per direction of Head of Quality India. • Leading the implementation of the “Roquette Total Quality System” and related process and tools at site. • Managing and developing the Operational Quality Network at site. • Organizing external & internal Quality audits and contributing to the maturity assessments. • Leading the follow-up of major quality failures corrective actions at site. To ensure:
• Roquette name will be synonymy of “Quality & Excellence” • Quality will be one of key differentiation factor of Roquette. • "One Roquette" in term of perceived quality image from our customers. Key Activities:
• Manage and develop the site Operational Quality team. • Define and lead the site Operational Quality strategy, objectives, and related masterplan. • Identify and detect the improvement opportunities, based on external or internal audits. • Manage the improvements to ensure the achievement of the Operational Quality objectives of the Plant • Provide technical assistance and services in the entire value chain. • Coach Managers / Leaders at site to embed and accelerate the Cultural Transformation. • Manage and develop the skills, competences, and succession plan of the Operational Quality network at site • Identify / share best practices and improve the standardization level. • Lead the Operational Quality communication within sites & externally as needed.
OTHER MAIN ACTIVITY:
• Apply and maintain the relevant product license and system certificate to meet customer requirement and compliance of concerned Quality regulatory of sites. • Lead the plant Quality team to work together with customer care and commercial team to provide best services to customer including claim handling, customer audit/visit and response to customer with proactive way. • Monitor Quality performance to ensure the quest for zero defect. • Monitor the effectiveness of Quality system using the method of the “Cost of Poor Quality” (COPQ) and ensure the reduction of the COPQ at Gokak site. • Take into account multi-cultural situation: adjust Roquette Quality System and Tools to specific local quality standard while ensuring the original mindset. • Support the In Process Control laboratory (IPC) in manufacturing organization to make the IPC running with same Quality control standard including method, instrument management, lab system etc.
With the support of HR Business partner, contribute to design, roll out and improve the awareness & training program to embed the Roquette Total Quality Culture at site. What we love about you:
• MS / master’s in technology or Engineer degree • Fluent in both English and Hindi, desirable local language.
Experience : 15+ years experience in food industries .

• Good knowledge of Operational Excellence concepts (Tool implementation) • Strong knowledge of Quality management system • Strong knowledge in food safety principles/norms: ISO 22000/GMP/FSSC:22000; GMP/Pharma culture
Specific requirements:
• A strong leadership with positive impact and at shop floor level as well. • Capacity to be oriented on short term performances and simultaneously to have the ability for building a positive long-term vision with the associated strategic action plans.
