About this role

Job Title Video Processing SW Engineer Job Description Video Processing SW Engineer As a video SW expert, you will join our team of video quality and standardization experts, bringing in profound knowledge of video coding, platforms and processing techniques. You will implement video processing algorithms for use in HDR TVs, STBs, and mobile devices (mobile phones, AR/VR glasses, etc.). You will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of a proper test infrastructure, as all our software needs to meet “market-grade” quality. This role requires technical creativity, but also flexibility to navigate in a dynamic environment.

Your role

• Implement video processing algorithms and provide test and certification platforms, in particular for HDR and AR/VR • Implement video decoding, encoding, and streaming media on several platforms • Interact with the commercial team and partners/customers to define and develop tasks and deliverables • Make implementations market ready, i.e. that they can be used by external parties to make professional and consumer products, e.g. in the form of SDKs • Document deliverables for third parties and be able to give implementation support.

You're the right fit if :

• have obtained a Bachelor or Master University degree in computer science/software engineering or related technical domain. • Experience with implementing high performance algorithms on various platforms • Knowledgeable on setting-up test infrastructures and maintaining them • Knows his/her way with scripting, C/C++/Python • At least 5-10 years of experience in the field

Preferred Skills:

• Team player who is taking personal ownership as well. • Hands on : help with standardization, contribute to plug-fests and tech try-outs • Problem solving skills: spot and solve performance/quality issues together with the other team members. • Knowledge of cloud processing architectures is a pre.

Compensation & benefits Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €78187–€130312. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 3% bonus, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
