Looking for a role where no two days are the same?

THE OPPORTUNITY

Enjoy being the person who keeps everything running smoothly and helps others do their best work?

In this role, you'll be at the heart of a busy team, helping coordinate everything from meetings and travel to training events and office operations. You'll build relationships with Operations Managers, Business Managers, analysts, suppliers, farm managers and farm teams from across the North Island, becoming a trusted person who helps keep things on track.

No two days are quite the same. One day you might be preparing for an important meeting, coordinating travel arrangements or managing a busy inbox. The next, you could be organising training for on-farm teams, working with training providers, updating business records and databases, or supporting office accounts alongside our Wellington team.

You'll play a big part in creating a positive workplace experience for everyone who walks through the door. Whether it's welcoming visitors, supporting colleagues or helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, you'll bring energy, organisation and a genuine willingness to help.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of New Zealand's agricultural industry while working alongside people who are passionate about what they do.

Based in our Taupō pastoral office, you'll support teams across 42 farms throughout the North Island and gain exposure to the largest group of connected dairy farms in the Southern Hemisphere.

This position has become available due to an internal promotion, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

This is an office-based role where being present, connected and available to support the team is an important part of the job.

ABOUT YOU

You'll enjoy being around people and take pride in creating a workplace that feels organised, welcoming and professional.

You might be working in office administration, reception, customer service, team coordination or a similar role where you've learned how to juggle competing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do approach.

You'll likely bring:

• Experience in an administration, office coordination or customer-facing role.

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• A friendly, approachable communication style and a genuine desire to help others.

• A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy creating a welcoming environment where people feel valued, connected and supported.

At Pāmu, we value diverse perspectives and welcome applications from people who share our values - even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

BENEFITS

We offer a competitive salary package, with wellbeing and family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave, health and life insurance benefits, and up to 4% KiwiSaver matching. You'll also receive an extra day of leave over Christmas, plus ongoing training and development.
