Supply Chain Graduate Rotation Program
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineered parts for the global aerospace and defense industries, is recruiting for its 2026 Supply Chain Graduate Rotation Program. This structured two-year program is designed to launch your career by providing hands-on experience across key areas of the supply chain while working onsite at our Chatsworth, California facility.
You will rotate through Procurement, Planning & SIOP, Supplier Performance & Delivery Assurance, and Operations & Logistics, gaining end-to-end supply chain experience while building technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills. Throughout the program, you will partner with experienced mentors, complete structured training, and lead meaningful projects that directly impact the business.

Key Responsibilities: Rotation 1: Procurement & Strategic Sourcing (5 Months)
• Place and manage purchase orders. • Expedite supplier deliveries. • Support RFQs and strategic sourcing initiatives. • Analyze supplier performance and cost reduction opportunities. • Develop knowledge of supplier negotiations, contract fundamentals, FAR/DFARS compliance, and purchase order management. • Complete a supplier cost savings or on-time delivery improvement project.
Rotation 2: Planning & SIOP (5 Months)
• Support demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory analysis. • Participate in SIOP meetings. • Develop ERP/MRP proficiency. • Learn forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration. • Complete a project focused on forecast accuracy or inventory improvement.
Rotation 3: Supplier Performance & Delivery Assurance (4 Months)
• Manage supplier scorecards. • Support supplier reviews and recovery plans. • Analyze root causes of shortages. • Develop supplier relationship management and KPI reporting skills. • Complete a supplier on-time delivery improvement initiative.
Rotation 4: Operations & Logistics (4 Months)
• Partner with receiving, warehouse, and production teams. • Support freight analysis and inventory counts. • Develop knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control, and Lean principles. • Lead an operational improvement initiative.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
• Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams. • Eagerness to learn and grow through a rotational development program.
Preferred Qualifications
• Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations. • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems. • Experience with Microsoft Excel or Power BI. • Interest in aerospace and continuous improvement.
Program Highlights
• Executive sponsor and functional mentor assigned for each rotation. • Monthly career development meetings and quarterly performance reviews. • Training in ERP systems, Advanced Excel, Power BI, supply chain analytics, Lean/Six Sigma fundamentals, government contracting basics, and presentation skills. • Capstone project presented to senior leadership during the final six months of the program.
