Your role at a glance The Associate Specialist, Procurement – DC Operations and Client Fit Out supports procurement activities for client-specific fit-out projects within data center environments. This role ensures timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and contractors while maintaining compliance with company standards and project timelines. The position requires strong analytical skills, vendor management capabilities, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality fit-out solutions. What we are looking for KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Procurement Execution: • Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Vendor & Contract Management: • Assist in supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding for fit-out projects. • Lead and Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing. • Resolve basic invoice queries and issues. • Cost Analysis & Reporting: • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for management review. • Ensure procurement systems and databases are kept accurate, up-to-date and ready for audit. • Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing information and procurement data within internal systems. • Compliance & Risk Management: • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory requirements. • Monitor supplier performance and mitigate risks related to delivery, quality, and compliance. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to queries. • Work closely with project managers, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and budgets.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Understanding of DC Operations and fit-out procurement processes and supply chain principles. • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement) and procurement tools. • Strong analytical and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. • Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 2 – 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction, data center fit-out projects, or facilities / DC Operations procurement. • Experience with strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations/drafting and management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs. • Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility • Remain stationary for long periods of time. • Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform. • Position self in small spaces. • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. • Perform work during US business hours and time zones.

WORK CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• May work onsite at a data center location occasionally. • Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises. • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. • Travel required 10% of time. • Hybrid role; may perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
