Payroll Analyst II

The Payroll Analyst II will administer and oversee all aspects of domestic payroll processing. This role will serve as the first point of contact for all payroll, tax, and par related issues. He/she will possess a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service, an aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving, and a desire to drive for results. The Payroll Analyst II must comply with all internal and external policies, laws, and regulations. This position will actively participate in all necessary payroll/timekeeping system implementations, conversions, internal audits and system upgrades. The Payroll Analyst II interacts with all levels of the organization and must provide excellent customer service at all timesEssential Functions

• Full cycle domestic payroll processing in accordance with Federal and State Wage and Hour laws. Duties including but not limited to, calculation and preparation of on-demand checks, payroll input, direct deposit, setup and compliance of local tax entities, PTO reconciliations, Import/Export various interface files to and from payroll system, reconcile time and attendance issues, garnishments, verifications of employment • Analyze complex payroll calculations, PTO adjustments, Retro, and Arrears adjustments. • Analyze and validate complex payroll system calculations • Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure that timecards are accurate • Utilize third party ticketing system to log and track payroll issues. • Consult with internal and external vendors to resolve payroll issues; partner with third party providers as necessary Follow through all issues to a successful resolution • Maintain accurate internal records and comply with retention requirements • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of all payroll data • Year-End duties including escheatment for unclaimed wages as they apply to State Laws governing abandoned property. • Participate in W2 reconciliations and audits • Process Tax amendments and ensure accurate filings • Track open vendor cases pertaining to payroll and take necessary action as needed • Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. • Minimum Qualifications: • 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar environment • 2 Years – Experience in Position • 2 Years – Experience managing projects

Education

• Minimum Required: • Bachelor's Degree in any field

• Preferred: • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or other related field

$82,011.54 - $118,916.74 / Yearly
