About The Team The School of Agricultural Science at Murdoch University is shaping the future of agriculture through excellence in teaching, research and industry engagement. Our teaching and learning activities prepare graduates to address challenges in food and fibre production, animal health and biosecurity.
We deliver undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, together with research training programs.
Our coursework offerings include majors in:
• Animal Science • Animal Health • Crop and Pasture Science • Biosecurity • Food Security
The team also delivers minors in Equine Science and Agribusiness.
Our teaching and learning programs combine strong foundational knowledge with hands-on learning through laboratories, fieldwork and industry placements, equipping students with the skills and networks needed for careers in modern agriculture, animal health and biosecurity.
About the opportunity We invite expressions of interest from candidates with relevant academic and/or industry experience to join our teaching talent register for casual and fixed-term opportunities within the School of Agricultural Science.
• Lectures • Workshops, laboratory classes and field-based teaching activities • Tutorials • Marking • Animal handling demonstration involving horses, cattle, sheep and pigs
