About the Role iZeno is looking for a Software Engineer to join our ITSM Team, supporting the design, implementation, and integration of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management solutions for our clients across Southeast Asia. This role sits at the intersection of ITSM platforms, infrastructure discovery, and custom development - ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world enterprise IT problems.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, customize, and support ITSM platforms (Freshservice/ Atlassian Jira Service Management) for client implementations • Implement and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions using Device42 • Support discovery, dependency mapping, and CMDB population activities across client infrastructure • Develop scripts, integrations, and automations using Python and Node.js • Collaborate with solution architects and consultants to translate client requirements into technical configurations • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across ITSM/ITAM tooling and integrations • Document technical designs, configurations, and runbooks • Participate in testing, UAT, and deployment activities for client projects Required Qualifications
• Experience: 2-3 years in a software engineering, ITSM, or systems integration role • Platform experience: Hands-on experience with Freshservice or Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM) • ITAM experience: Practical experience with Device42 (or similar ITAM/discovery tools) • Discovery knowledge: Understanding of discovery protocols (e.g., SNMP, WMI, SSH, agent-based vs. agentless discovery) • Infrastructure knowledge: Solid understanding of servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP a plus) • Programming: Hands-on experience with Python and Node.js • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Good to Have
• Understanding of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and asset lifecycle management • ITIL Foundation knowledge (v4/v5); certification a plus • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware integrations • Basic SQL for reporting, data extraction, and CMDB queries • Bash/PowerShell scripting for automation alongside Python/Node.js • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Interested applicants are invited to apply via our careers portal.
