Role Summary
We seek a Professor to lead the Business Management discipline, providing academic leadership, line management of staff, and strategic direction for curriculum and research. Reporting to the Academic Provost, the post-holder will shape teaching quality, programme development, and industry engagement while collaborating with Aberdeen-based School leads.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, delivery, assessment, and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Provide academic leadership, including staff mentoring, performance evaluation, and curriculum innovation. Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory quality standards. Promote research-informed teaching, pedagogical innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Engage with industry and external partners to enhance employability and internationalisation.
Candidate Requirements
PhD in Business Management, Management Studies, or related field, with academic and/or industry experience. Proven excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership. Commitment to innovation, research, and continuous professional development.
