Job Summary To be an Engineer in supporting and maintaining the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Electric and Gas operations and ancillary modules/systems and related activities such as design, test and implement new systems & system support. Responsibilities • Defines and maintains SCADA databases and definitions. Maintains telemetry data and evaluates and maintains accurate information in the Electric Management System (EMS) • Must be able to support the specification, design, testing and development of the EMS system to ensure that changing functional requirements are met. • Design enhancements to the Energy Control Systems (ECS) to improve user interfaces • Documents commissioning procedures and provides operational assistance and troubleshooting when needed. • Coordinates the safe and orderly commissioning of new and redesigned intelligent electronic devices and instrumentation as well as other systems and components in substations and other connecting facilities • Monitors and ensures that systems and components are designed, installed, tested operated and maintained according to the operational requirements and standards for safety and reliability • Analyzes key power system data to ensure that the bulk electric system can operate in a safe reliable and coordinated manner in accordance with ISO/RTO operating principles and standards • Works within the Control Center environment and supports Cyber Security and NERC/CIP requirements for Control Center operations. Maintains and creates documentation for supported platforms and systems to meet all regulatory requirements/ standards.

Skills and Requirements Education and Experience Requirements: Meet at least one of the following:

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 1-2 years’ technical experience OR • Associate Engineering Degree with 4+ years’ technical experience.
