Responsibilities We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team!
Support the housekeeping (EVS) department leadership to maintain a high level of cleanliness and consistency throughout all areas of the hospital. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. Responsibilities Housekeeping Supervisor
• Wage: $19.75/hour • Full-time positions available • Third shifts available • Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility are required • Location: Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center • Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas • Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs • Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment necessary to complete job assignments • Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned • Assist with cleaning areas of the hospital as needed to ensure full coverage • Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices • Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years old • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform • GED or high school diploma • Experience as a supervisor is preferred • Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare) Physical Requirements
• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift • Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift • Must handle chemicals, including bleach, wax, and disinfectants • Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job Benefits We offer flexible schedules, excellent training, competitive wages, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and promotion opportunities.
