Job Description Kraft Heinz is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Procurement Analyst II to support end-to-end procurement operations and sourcing activities across global categories. The role will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures while optimizing cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. The successful candidate will collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and global procurement teams to ensure continuity of supply, drive operational efficiencies, improve procurement compliance, and deliver sustainable value through strategic sourcing and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations & Purchasing
• Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures while optimizing price, delivery, terms, and total cost of ownership. • Manage procurement activities from purchase requisition to purchase order creation and supplier engagement. • Ensure timely execution of sourcing, purchasing, and contract-related activities. • Monitor supplier performance and proactively address delivery, quality, and service issues. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Operations. • Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance reviews. • Coordinate with vendors to ensure continuity of supply and uninterrupted business operations. • Facilitate issue resolution and escalation management with suppliers and business stakeholders. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization
• Analyze spend data and procurement trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Support RFx events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations. • Drive procurement process improvements, cost avoidance initiatives, and operational efficiencies. • Contribute to sourcing projects focused on Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, and Innovation (AQSCI). Analytics & Reporting
• Generate procurement dashboards, spend reports, and supplier performance analytics. • Track procurement KPIs including savings, cycle times, compliance, and supplier service levels. • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership through data-driven analysis. • Ensure procurement master data accuracy across systems and tools. Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and contractual obligations. • Maintain procurement documentation, supplier records, and audit readiness. • Support risk mitigation initiatives and contract governance activities. • Drive adherence to procurement controls and operational standards. Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or related field. • 3–6 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Buying Desk operations. • Experience supporting global procurement or shared services environments is preferred. • Exposure to indirect procurement, direct procurement, supplier management, or sourcing operations.
