Ko tōu ake mahi - What you’ll do Are you a highly organised coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality, responsiveness and attention to detail matter? Join our Government Services team and play a key role in supporting the Ministry's accountability to Ministers, Parliament and the public. Working across a diverse portfolio that includes Ministerial Correspondence, Official Information Act services, Ministerial advice, and Parliamentary coordination functions, you'll help ensure critical information flows smoothly, deadlines are met, and high-quality services are delivered to stakeholders across the Ministry and Government.
• Coordinate Ministerial, parliamentary and official information workflows, including logging, tracking, filing, reporting and responding to requests while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Support the delivery of the team's work programme by coordinating requests for information and advice, preparing reports and presentations, and maintaining accurate records and reporting systems.
• Provide proactive administrative and logistical support, including coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and assisting with workflow management across multiple workstreams.
• Build strong relationships across the Ministry and with key stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, systems and service delivery

• Experience in a coordination, administration or business support role supporting multiple stakeholders, projects or workstreams.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, work under pressure and attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
• A proactive mindset and keen eye for detail, with a passion for improving processes and supporting team success
