Job Description Role & Responsibilities:
• Support system design for new proof of concept/prototype
• Assist in translating user needs into high-level system requirements
• Contribute to prototype development, integration, and testing activities
• Create and maintain design documentation, block diagrams, interface definitions, and use cases
• Participate in design discussions, feasibility analysis, and technical reviews
• Help identify technical risks, assumptions, and design trade-offs
• Strong documentation skills — ability to produce structured test reports, experiment logs, and result summaries
• Document results, learnings, and recommendations from prototype evaluations
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Systems, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
• No active backlogs at the time of application.
• Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
• Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
• Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, Python, or MATLAB for experiment logging, data analysis, and plotting
Desired Characteristics
• Strong interest in system design, prototyping, and product development
• Academic/project experience in prototype building, integration, testing, or multidisciplinary engineering preferred
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Exposure to testing, debugging, and performance evaluation
• Hands-on experience with programming is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new software tools and platforms based on project needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
