Job Description Summary We are looking for an Engineering Intern to support the development of system diagnostic tools for a mobile X-ray system. This internship is ideal for candidates interested in diagnostic tool development, troubleshooting, software-enabled service solutions, and cross-functional product engineering.
Job Description Role & Responsibilities:
• Support the development of system diagnostic tools for a mobile X-ray system.
• Contribute to the design of troubleshooting workflows for field engineers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand system behavior, fault conditions, logs, and service needs.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of diagnostic tool concepts.
• Assist in analyzing issues across software, hardware, and firmware interfaces.
• Help document diagnostic logic, troubleshooting steps, and technical findings.
• Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and implementation clarifications.

Qualifications/Requirements
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline .
• 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
• No active backlogs at the time of application.
• Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
• Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
• Strong interest in diagnostic tools, troubleshooting, product development, and engineering problem-solving.
• Academic or project experience in software development, embedded systems, testing, debugging, or technical troubleshooting is preferred.
Skills
• Knowledge of software development, scripting, or automation tools.
• Basic understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and firmware concepts.
• Familiarity with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting concepts.
• Exposure to hardware-software interaction and firmware behavior is desirable.
• Ability to support troubleshooting involving hardware, electrical, or firmware-related issues.
• Basic knowledge of lab tools, service interfaces, or test setups is an advantage.
