Purpose
• Assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing AS400 core Life Administration System • Responsible for managing vendors from IT product sourcing, pricing, capabilities, performance evaluation, and SLA. • Assists in administrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing Group Control-M platform • As the regional technical AS400 SME to drive the upgrade activities of LIFE Asia, Group Asia, MSP, WAS, OS/400 version upgrade, and vulnerability patching. • Support an internal and external audit exercise for AS400 and Control-M platform, compliance to FWD IT risk and security policies
Key accountabilities
• Assist to monitor, maintain and support AS400 and Control-M servers in a good order for the Group • Responsible for AS400 and Control-M system administration including change control, programming, testing, bug fixing, applying program temp fix, health checking on various system modules for HK and Non-HK business units • Plan and schedule the preventive maintenance for AS400 and Control-M servers, support audit exercise on AS400 and Control-M servers • Compile management reports on regular basis, including daily health check reports to AS400 team lead • Make recommendations to improve availability, capacity, and performance on AS400 and Control-M servers • Support AS400 Cloud project in terms of planning, testing, migration, and implementation • Support annual DR drill exercise on AS400 and Control-M platform for various country BU

• Any P1 issues found on AS400 system due to lack of control • Any P1 issues found on Control-M platform due to lack of control • Any high risk identified from internal and external audit on AS400 system or Control-M platform • Deliverables of AS400 and Control-M project • 360 feedbacks from the peers and IT users

Qualifications / experience
• High diploma or above in computer science • At least 8 years working experience on AS400 system administration. • At least 2 years working experience on Control-M platform administration
Knowledge & technical skills
• Familiar with the CSC SMART/DIARY and Life Insurance business is an advantage • Familiar with OS Object Authority Security, Backup and Restore Operation, HMC Operation, and System Monitoring • Understand the process of software development life cycle • Capable to write Control Language (CL) for AS400 task automation • Hands on experience on Mimix replication tool • Hands-on experience in Control-M administration, installation, and configuration • Good communication skills
