We are seeking a Crew Lead for our First Quality Print and Packaging plant located in Anderson, SC. This position working under the direction of the Press Manager, will be responsible for training employees to operate, maintain, setting up, and change over machines/equipment within standard operating procedures. The Crew Lead plays a key role in leading the team by providing clear direction, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring that shift operations run smoothly and efficiently. By serving as the first point of contact for team members, the Crew Lead helps resolve day-to-day challenges, maintains workflow continuity, and supports overall productivity throughout the shift.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for team members • Responsible for the quality of all products produced on respective crew • Oversee and train employees to operate, inspect, and maintain all support equipment as needed. • Operate, inspect, and maintain all support equipment as needed. • Run daily trend reports. • Complete daily housekeeping assignments. • Maintain utility usage record daily. • Assist in all support equipment repairs. • Follow all GMP, SQF, OSHA and plant policies and procedures. • Perform all other duties as required or directed, with or without accommodation • Conducts job in a manner which complies with the food safety program (SQF). • Reports food safety problems immediately to supervisor or a QA team member. Takes action when appropriate. Education and experience requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Strong knowledge of machine operation, setup, and changeover procedures • Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to maintain shift flow • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and company policies
Work Environment: Manufacturing operations Physical Requirements:
• Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift.
• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting throughout shift.
• Occasional climbing and reaching
• Occasional reaching overhead during shift.
• Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift
• Frequent lifting or carrying items/product weighing 10 pounds.
• Occasional lifting or carrying items/product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Constant use of hands
• Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift.
• Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks and roll manipulators throughout shift.
• Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area.
• Occasional climbing of steps.
• Balance required for some tasks.
• Maintains 5s housekeeping standards

• Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (days or nights)
