Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is hiring for an Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care team at our Hillcrest clinic.
FHCSD is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, well trained 200+ provider group dedicated to providing health care services to everyone with a particular emphasis on the medically underserved. Position details:
• Full time (will consider part time at 32 hours per week) • Location: Hillcrest • AAHIVM certification preferred - option to work with HIV patients may be available in the future but not guaranteed upon hire. • Demonstrated experience with providing gender affirming care preferred
Position Requirements:
• Board certified or Board eligible in a Primary Care field • Experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred • Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural and economic groups • Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training. • DEA license • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine. • Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California • AAHIVM certification preferred • Experience and additional training in providing gender affirming care required
