About this role
Our Panel Foamer position is responsible for setting up panels and materials in jigs to prep for panel foaming at our Soft Rail facility.
Responsibilities:
• Foaming standard, stock and custom panels • Select correct metal for panels • Accurately apply proper materials to panels in metal prep • Accurately set up jigs for panel foaming • Keep proper records of panels produced as required • Clean excess foam/material off panel and inspect for proper alignment and any defects • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must understand & be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements • Ability to use small hand tools efficiently and safely • Ability to read blue prints • Ability to read a tape measure • Ability to accurately figure shot times • Ability to operate all foam jigs efficiently • Ability to communicate in a team setting and be a team player
Essential Functions:
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., plus on a continual basis. • Ability to reach overhead and/or above shoulder height frequently. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to use repetitive motions. • Ability to be on time and at work on a daily basis.
