Get to Know the Role
The Event Assistant Manager plays a critical role in supporting the planning events from start to finish. Working with the Event Manager, you will ensure that all event components—strategy, operations, vendors, and on-ground execution—are well-coordinated and delivered. We are looking for someone who is, proactive, and able to manage multiple moving parts while. You will be expected to take ownership of key workstreams, anticipate challenges, and ensure every event runs smoothly, even under pressure. Reporting to the Manager, you will be based in our Jakarta Office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
End-to-end event planning: concept, timeline, budgeting, and executionStakeholder alignment: coordinate with internal teams to align goals and expectationsVendor management: source, negotiate, and oversee production/logistics partners for quality and cost controlOperational planning: develop detailed run-downs and maintain clear documentation/communication flowsOn-ground execution: lead workstreams (registration, stage, backstage) and troubleshoot issuesProject management: track timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent eventsQuality assurance: ensure deliverables meet standards and coordinate seamless cross-team operationsPost-event evaluation: support reporting, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for future events What Essential Skills You Will Need
Have a minimum Bachelor's Degree from any major5+ years managing large-scale, high-profile eventsFluent English (written and verbal)Proven Project Management Skills with previous experience in managing multiple concurrent projectsComposure: Calm under pressure, comfortable with tight deadlines and rapid changesMindset: Proactive, hands-on ownership with solutions-oriented approach
