About this role
Distribution Leads will oversee the daily productivity of assigned department. Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, and others while always representing the company in a positive and supportive manner.
Job Functions
• Lead and assign job responsibilities to all department personnel. • Ensure all team members arrive on time, take scheduled breaks or lunches as required and stay within the scheduled time frames. • Monitor productivity tasks and keep a steady workflow within the department • Train team members as needed. Verify all processes are performed accurately and efficiently. • Perform regular department safety walkthroughs and follow safety protocols & policies. • Remain in communication with leadership & management to ensure support is available. • Communicate regular headcounts of the shift to report any changes in the depart. • Report any safety concerns & incidents to the designated parties. Education/Experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in a Distribution Center or Manufacturing operation. • Lead experience preferred. Required Competencies
• Proficient understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Must be able to Read, Write, and Speak English. • Must have patience and the capability to train/teach associates. • Multi-task in a fast-paced work environment that has a strong customer focus. • Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner. • Highly motivated, focused, dependable and a self-starter. • Ability to work effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities. • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required
$24.13 - $27.16 The salary range posted reflects the estimated minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
