About this role
As a Operational Technology (OT) Engineer, you will join our teams in Dunbar Scotland to support our activities within the Nuclear sector.
You will support the maintenance, configuration control, and cyber resilience of plant OT systems, working closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and reliable.
You will gain hands-on experience in industrial environments, developing expertise in OT systems, asset management, and cyber security practices within a highly regulated, safety-critical industry.
Location: Dunbar Scotland On Site: Hybrid Clearance: BPSS Experience Level: 2- 5 YOE Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security management across the full lifecycle (development to in-service operation)Support configuration control and system management, including tools, data, and repositoriesEnsure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety are embedded in all activitiesAct as a point of contact for site OT security matters, supporting:Plant Computer Systems Security (PCSS) practitionersCyber security (Blue Team) activitiesMaintain and support key OT documentation and systems, including:Plant network diagramsOT asset registersSecurity case documentationSecurity operating proceduresCyber incident response processesContribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting team development
Required Skills:
Understanding of the lifecycle of OT / I&C systems, particularly:Configuration controlSecurity considerationsIn-service managementStrong analytical mindset with attention to detailRequired Qualifications:
A degree in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent military experienceEligible for (or holding) UK security clearanceDesirable Skills:
