This is a full time, permanent position. Working a 39 hour week, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
As a Laboratory Support Technician will serve as a member of the JSC group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities that you be covering:
Coordinate end‑to‑end sample management, including logging samples into SAP, aliquoting and labelling vials, retrieving samples from storage, and overseeing internal and external sample shipments.Manage freezer operations, including alarm monitoring, maintaining freezer logbooks, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring audit readiness at all times.Support laboratory workflow through pipette coordination, sample movement within the central lab, and prompt response to ad‑hoc sample pull requests or information queries.Maintain documentation and data integrity, ensuring accurate entry of external results into LIMS, updating job cards, generating environmental and water analysis reports, and producing business or quality‑related metrics.Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including Maintenance teams for calibrations and sample movements, alarm responders during JSC activities, and client personnel for documentation and compliance matters.Oversee inventory and operational compliance, including reference material inventory management, coordination of SAP work orders, and ensuring all systems and processes meet quality and audit expectations. What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an Laboratory Support Technician:
A third‑level qualification in a scientific discipline, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge relevant to laboratory and analytical operations.Experience working to GMP standards within a laboratory environment, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance requirements.Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across laboratory, operational, and client‑facing functions.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with internal colleagues and external partners.High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring reliable sample handling, documentation, and data integrity.Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain an orderly workspace, and meet operational deadlines.
