Eurofins’ Environmental Simulation Labs evaluate products under extreme environmental, mechanical, and climatic conditions to verify safety, durability, and performance across global markets. Testing includes shock and vibration, climatic and humidity, altitude, HALT/HASS, IP, corrosion, ozone, thermal shock, drop, and package testing.

Position Summary

The Project Engineer is a cross-functional technical lead responsible for managing customer test programs from opportunity through completion. This role blends program management, reliability engineering, customer engagement, quality oversight, and operational coordination. Project Engineers serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customer programs and work closely with testing engineers, technicians, and lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customer test programs.

- Develop detailed test plans and proposals.

- Coordinate cross-functional execution of test programs.

- Interpret test standards and specifications.

- Provide engineering oversight during test setup, execution, and troubleshooting.

- Support failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions.

- Assist with test cell maintenance and lab capability improvements.

- Ensure adherence to Eurofins quality systems and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Reliability Engineering, or similar.

- Experience with at least three environmental test type.

- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and standards.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in environmental simulation or qualification testing.

- Familiarity with MIL-STD, ISTA, NEBS, ICE 60068, ISO 16750, or similar standards.

- Experience developing test plans and technical reports.

- Hands-on experience with chambers, vibration systems, or IP testing setups.

Compensation:

$85,000-$125,000What we offer:
