What You’ll Do
Analyze samples using GC‑MS, LC‑MS, and/or ICP‑MS to support commercial and clinical testing for pharmaceutical manufacturing.Generate, interpret, and organize complex analytical data with accuracy and clarity.Review results for compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations; flag quality issues when needed.Use current and historical data to support conclusions and write clear technical summaries.Calibrate and verify instruments to ensure reliable performance.Troubleshoot lab instruments and methods to keep workflows running smoothly.Follow all regulatory and cGxP requirements (e.g., GMP, GDP).Participate in training—both as a learner and a trainer.Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑supplied laboratory environment.Collaborate professionally with vendors and cross‑functional teams.Contribute to method validation activities as assigned.What Helps You Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (or other science related degree concentration) with 2+ years of industry experience: or Master's degree with any industry experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipExperience in GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MSExperience operating inside of a GMP lab spaceStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExperience writing and reviewing detailed technical documentsExperience with an electronic laboratory information management systemCandidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York, are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes that may require shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed.
