About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Scientist to join our team in Boxmeer. As an Associate Scientist, you will contribute the Global Analytical Technology Solutions (ATS) team, covering Small and Large Molecules, oversees analytical activities across the client Animal Health network. The ATS-Bio Robustness EU/APAC team develops new Quality Control (QC) tests to replace existing QC tests to improve robustness of assays for QC laboratories in the European (EU) region and the Asian Pacific (APAC) region. The position focusses on the development of new immunoassays to enable quantitation of antigens in antigen batches or vaccines.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing immunoassays such as ELISA, AlphaLISA, or LuminexValidation of immunoassays and routine execution of assays to generate results for specification settingPlan and execute experiments and evaluate resultsReport all laboratory activities in a clear, organised manner, in the form of reports and standard operating proceduresSupport investigations Bachelor of Applied Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry, Biology or Molecular Biology or HBO/HLOExperience in laboratory techniques such as ELISA, AlphaLISA or Luminex is requiredExperience with working under GLP and GMP requirements is preferredAble to work independently and in a teamStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary and international teamProficient in English, both speaking and writing Working at PSS means working with highly motivated people with a can-do mentality.
