Responsibility:
The Software Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, configuring and supporting computer software
applications.
Essential Job Duties:
Level I - Minimum
Manage designated technology application portfolio from configuration, maintenance and monitoringProvide analysis, architectural design and leadership on small size projectsWork within defined IT processes and procedures including the company’s internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)Serve as liaisons between technical and business departments in order to ensure that all requirements and targets are metWork under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgmentConsult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experienceApply basic application management and administration skills with moderate level of proficiencyRepresent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all timesParticipate in 24x7 On Call rotation supporting break/fix ticket resolution.Other duties as assigned by managementLevel II – Fully meets the responsibilities of Level I plus the following:

7+ years of successful application & system development and management; database experience utilizing the .NETProven experience leading tasks or projects related to large size software implementationsPhysical Requirements:
Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overheadAbility to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group settingAbility to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions

MCA or Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
