Summary Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 1:30pm Currently no call (subject to change for future growth/needs)Job Description: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 1:30pm Currently no call (subject to change for future growth/needs) The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment.
Job Duties:
• Completes and documents database in Epic if needed according to the procedure • Obtains a health history and instructs patient for procedure / treatment in Radiology. • Assesses the patient’s and family’s knowledge and understanding of the patient’s health status and capabilities. • Performs routine assessment according to standards of care. • Provides ongoing assessment as indicated by the patient’s status and / or problems. • Reviews chart to ensure pre procedure items are compliant • Participates in getting biopsy/procedures approved by radiologist prior to scheduling • Performs patient monitoring during procedures
Requirements:
• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required. • ADN or higher • 2 years of nursing experience (job related radiology or unit nurse experience) • Must obtain Moderate Sedation Training, ACLS, and Cardiac Monitoring Observations within 3 months Benefits:
