This role is Second Shift, Tuesday-Saturday
Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writingMeets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration Regular attendance and punctuality Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures. Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP'sUse MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspaceCommitment to occasional overtime as workload requires To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related degree concentrationAbility to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorshipMicroscopes and biological safety cabinetsMedia preparationPipetting Organism/culture preparation Serial dilutionAseptic technique Gram stains Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm.
