Procurement Specialist We have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and friendly team as a Procurement Specialist.

What are the key responsibilities?
• Gain a full understanding of purchasing requirements to achieve internal department’s desired outcomes for service and cost. • Oversees and conducts bid openings and evaluates bids and proposals, issues award letters, contracts or purchase orders. • Works in cross collaboration with a variety of internal departments during all stages of negotiation and contract processes to resolve problems and issues. • Negotiates with suppliers establishing price, delivery, quantity, payment, scope of work and order management. • Research sources of supply. Identifies and evaluates sole source validity and methods of procurement action. • Provides administrative support during lifecycle of contract process and performance. • Reviews and approves requisitions to ensure documentation complies with internal audit requirements and defined policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
• Relevant work experience in a similar role or a customer focussed background • Attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures • Ability to develop and implement solutions to defined tasks and projects • Good communication skills fluent in English, another language will be advantageous • Must have good IT skills with knowledge of Excel and AI • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • High levels of initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
