We're looking for a highly organised, passionate and proactive Program Officer – Strategic Programs to join our Community Cricket team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in programs that create meaningful impact across Queensland, helping ensure cricket is accessible, inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll provide critical operational and administrative support across a range of strategic initiatives, including:

• All Abilities Cricket

• First Nations Cricket Programs

• Child Safeguarding

• Community Cricket strategic projects

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager – Community Cricket & Infrastructure, you will:

• Support the administration and operational delivery of strategic Community Cricket programs.

• Coordinate child safeguarding compliance activities across Queensland Cricket, clubs and associations.

• Provide broad administrative support, including:

• Budget tracking

• Invoice processing

• Expense management

• Meeting coordination and minute taking

• Travel and accommodation bookings

• Coordinate travel, transport and logistics for intrastate and interstate carnivals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Cricket Australia, clubs, associations, government stakeholders and community partners.

• Support strategic initiatives that drive participation, inclusion and growth throughout Queensland.

• Travel as required to support programs, events and representative teams.

About You

You are an organised and enthusiastic administration professional who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes while contributing to something bigger. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships, and are passionate about community sport, inclusion and creating positive experiences for others.

Skills & Experience

You'll bring:

• Demonstrated administrative experience, ideally within sport, community, not-for-profit or membership-based organisations.

• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and confidence working with administrative systems.

• Excellent written communication skills, including reporting, stakeholder correspondence and content creation.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Experience coordinating logistics, travel arrangements and events will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

• Paid Blue Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)

• First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)

• Valid driver’s licence
