What You’ll Do The Manager of Maintenance Training reports directly to the Director of Quality Assurance (DQA).

• Develops structured in-house course curriculums and Training Programs to include B-727, DC-9/MD-80, and Falcon 20 Familiarization, Systems and Differences • Creates all in-house training formats. • Schedules, and presents of all in-house training • Coordinates all contracted maintenance training • Maintains employee training files. • Tracks recurrent training requirements and publishes employee authorization lists for airworthiness release, run, and taxi, etc. • Trains Technical Services Department technical representatives that monitor work on heavy inspections/repairs performed away from YIP, to include verification of paperwork to ensure all USA Jet requirements are met • Performs the duties of QA Inspector when called upon • Conducts any other Company training as required • Responsible to actively participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and SMS. Required to report all safety concerns in a timely manner. Required to ensure that they and their co-workers are performing their functions in the safest possible manner. Required to follow the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health organization with legal authority at the location at which they are workings • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associates or bachelor’s degree, preferred. • Three (3) to five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience in field/data entry desired • Experience in development of training aids, courses, and in classroom instruction • The Manager of Maintenance Training shall hold an appropriate airman certificate. • Knowledge with Microsoft Suite, specially Word and Excel software programs

Additional Considerations

• To be able to perform the job of an Aircraft Mechanic/Technician, employees are required to possess the minimum tools as outlined on departmental tool list. • As part of the job responsibilities of an Aircraft Mechanic/Technician, new hires will be required to complete the TSA Security Training Program, which is provided by USA Jet Airlines. Once personnel have successfully completed the training program, occasional travel with the USA Jet Airlines, Inc. will be required. • Must be able to successfully pass an initial Drug and Alcohol screening process as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and a Fingerprint Based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and/or Security Threat Assessment (STA) as required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). • USA Jet Airlines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
