The Opportunity

As a Construction Delivery Manager, you’ll support a key section of HPC’s works, helping our teams deliver safely and efficiently as we move towards An Electric Britain. Your contribution will help keep one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects moving with clarity and purpose.

Experience and knowledge in delivering projects, including construction sequencing, recovery plans and resource allocationGood understanding of obligations under the CDM RegulationsAbility to write informative, concise and meaningful reportsAbility to motivate contract partners and build a climate of trust and understandingExcellent organisation and communication skillsTertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent vocational training and experienceSMSTS or IOSH qualificationAbility to collaborate with other managers to effectively manage site operationsA results‑focused mindset, using initiative, personal responsibility and accountabilityAbility to deliver results under pressureAbility to manage multiple stakeholdersWhat You’ll Be Doing

Supporting contract partners to deliver their sections of work safely and efficientlyRecommending and implementing temporary measures to mitigate safety or quality concernsMonitoring work on site and reporting findings through daily logs and detailed escalation reportsCoordinating with site functions to maintain strong communication and timely reportingOrganising and leading PLOD/PLOW meetings with contractorsPay, Benefits and Culture
