The Opportunity

As our Learning and Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day organisational learning approach across Hinkley Point C. You’ll strengthen how we capture, analyse and embed lessons learned to reduce risk, enhance safety behaviours and support informed decision making – all driving our mission towards An Electric Britain.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role is based on the #HinkleyPointC site, where you’ll spend four days per week working closely with teams across construction, safety and engineering.

By building a proactive, prevention‑focused learning culture, you’ll shape how insights improve safety, quality and the overall integrity of the project. You’ll develop and deliver a systemised approach to trend analysis, champion safer ways of working and support knowledge sharing that safeguards future nuclear projects. You’ll also have opportunities to deepen your expertise across complex, high‑hazard, regulated environments.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Learning and Continuous Improvement Manager with strong judgement, collaboration and drive, capable of influencing behaviours in a fast‑paced, highly regulated, risk‑sensitive environment. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

Background in the nuclear industry or a complex regulated sector is requiredExperience working with site nuclear licence condition requirements, ideally LC7NEBOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety backgroundEngineering or quality assurance backgroundDemonstrable experience managing a teamDemonstrable experience of regulatory liaison, ideally the Nuclear RegulatorUnderstanding of engineering processes, reporting systems and software and improvement toolsTo be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.

Managing organisational learning activities across the Hinkley Point C programmeManaging the capture, review and analysis of lessons learnedOwning the Project Reporting Tool, ensuring accurate event reporting information is available to Senior ManagementWriting and presenting complex reportsCreating and managing routine performance dataConducting trend analysis and influencing others to take action to drive improvement and reduce riskSupporting investigation reviews and learning forums, delivering presentations and trainingManaging a team of Leads and Coordinators in delivering organisational learning activitiesDriving a consistent approach to continual improvement across project teamsPay, Benefits and Culture
