This position reports to: Production Manager __ Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment. Each day, you will ensure that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed processes and performs the final test in accordance with the project’s data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the efficiency of all external production processes.
The work model for the role is: {onsite}
This role is contributing to the {Instrument Transformers & Sensors (ITS)} in {Xiamen, China}. Main stakeholders are {ELDS}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Be responsible for plan of process and layout according to business strategy • WI review and approval • Lead Takt time study to reduce throughput time • Manage improvement of process and tools to improve efficiency, safety,5s • Lead to solve the Top 5 quality problems • Handle and coordinate problems occurring in manufacture process • Participate/ encourage improvement activities for capacity, quality, efficiency, cost reduction, etc. in manufacture process • Provide the necessary training / coach to develop competence of team members and operators • Provide support and cooperation to other function in several projects/issues • Lead relative activities to follow the requirement of company, such as EHS, Employee Guideline, etc.

Qualifications for the roleAbility
• Strong organizational and communication skills, able to perform well under high pressure. • Strong leadership skills and a sense of ownership are required. • Good analytical and statistics skills with a strong attention to detail are required. • Teamwork orientation. • Production scheduling ability. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• College degree or above, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant specialties • 5+ years’ working experience and 3+ years in production/workshop management. Familiarity with MV CT/VT and epoxy component manufacturing processes is preferred. • Familiar with the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, able to lead pilot production and process validation. • Proficiency in MS Office & SolidWorks and AutoCAD • Good understanding of Lean production/six sigma, kaizen • Good English skills, both oral and written.
