Salary: Grade 2 (SCP 5 - 6) £25,949 - £25,989 (pro rata)

Derwent Hill are looking to recruit General Assistants, the job will include evenings, weekends and possibly some kitchen shifts.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Main Purpose
To provide excellent customer service as part of the Derwent Hill Venue Team.
To complete general housekeeping duties and other customer service tasks including food & drink service

Cleaning of all areasService of food and drinkPreparation of dining areas for mealsWashing upLaundryAssisting chefs in kitchen dutiesServing in the bar and shopMoving furniture and setting up rooms as requiredDuring appropriate periods use opportunities to develop your skillsOther reasonable duties as may be directed by the Centre DirectorContribute to Derwent Hill’s welcoming and supportive ethos, working flexibly when necessary to support colleagues. Experience
Working in a housekeeping, kitchen and/or bar environment with experience of customer service.Ability to develop knowledge and experience of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations and to follow these regulations and Council Policies.
