We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our Dellwood location (10486 W Florissant Ave). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the store management team in achieving business goals.
Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow during assigned shiftsProvide outstanding customer service and resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptlyManage and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environmentHandle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist in inventory management and stock controlEnsure store cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standardsTrain and develop new team membersSupport the implementation of company policies and proceduresAssist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requestsCollaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performanceRespond to and resolve employee issues or concernsPerform opening and closing procedures as needed Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an assistant manager roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team membersExcellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanorProficiency in cash handling and basic financial managementAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiency, including point-of-sale systems and scheduling softwarePhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
