Amazon's vision is to be the earths most customer centric company . The ambition of the Amazon Pay business is to transform payments in India. This role is of a business and operations analyst- mainly has two responsibilities: a) analyzes business data through tools like SQL, excel, tableau etc and comes up with segments, data-cuts, recommendations. b) On operations side, the individual works with external merchants/brands in executing small/medium size business or marketing initiatives. The individual will have to interact extensively with members within the Category, Data and Ops teams and across business lines. There will be a steep learning curve, adding a fair amount of business skills and growth opportunities to the individual. This role requires 1-3 years of previous work experience of a) data analysis tools (SQL, excel and tableau) and b) account managing small/medium size brands/sellers. A day in the life: Work with category and product teams within bill payments and money transfers in deep-diving on business problems using SQL, data, work on monthly offers planning through data-deep dives and work with external brands like telcos, DTH or subscription providers in executing growth partnership ideas. In a nutshell this is a business analyst + category sales specialist.
