Key job responsibilities People - Lead and grow a team of 10+ SDEs, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and professional development Projects - Drive delivery of multiple high-visibility yearly goals - Partner with Product and Ops stakeholders to shape the team roadmap Product - Own and drive Operational and Engineering Excellence goals for the team - Manage existing services while architecting new solutions for upcoming launches across geographies About the team We are the MAP (Middle East and Asia Pacific) Affordability team under International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) organisation. Our vision for the organisation is to make payments trusted, convenient, and rewarding through strategic execution across multiple markets and regions. Following on this vision, we're not just processing transactions — we're reimagining how Installment products are built at Amazon, making affordable payment options accessible to every customer across MENA and APAC regions. As part of this process, we're building engineering teams to move fast, think big, and turn that vision into reality.
