As a part of the AFT Material Catalog Team, you will work on developing systems that identify and describe billions of units of inventory that flow through Amazon's vast network of fulfillment centers. Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, test and maintain software solutions that power the inventory management and supply chain compliance for Amazon's global fulfillment network. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, program managers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet technical and business requirements. - Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of data and traffic in real-time. - Participate in the full software development life cycle, including writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting code reviews, deploying production-ready software to Amazon's infrastructure and supporting the software in production. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple systems and services, collaborating with other teams as needed. A day in the life As an SDE in Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) Inventory team, day-to-day you'll work on diverse and challenging tasks like designing new services, supporting AFT’s large infrastructure, collaborating with your team members and cross-functional teams, and training machine learning models to create smarter capabilities in Amazon Fulfillment Centers. All the work you will do will ensure that Amazon customers receive their packages on time while all fulfillment processes are safe and compliant for Amazon associates and customers.
