MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Employer: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC Offered Position: System Dev Engineer III Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9802465 Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, test, and document complex distributed software applications and infrastructure automation tools, systems and services. Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools. Lead and define engineering best practices and operational excellence standards. Design, implement, and maintain solutions that benefit multiple teams. Identify opportunities for automation, improve practices and propose efficiency-enhancing projects. Contribute to operational planning, readiness and risk mitigation. Review technical artifacts including code, designs, test plans, and documentation. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using Python, C#, Java, and AWS tools.
