Job Description QA Tester

Hybrid (2 days per week in-person at Toronto office preferred)

Experience Required: 8-10 Years overall
Skills Domain: Git/ Bitbucket/ Maven/ Jira/ SDLC.
Must Have :
· 2?4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
· Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
· Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers.
· Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good-to-Have
· Mobile Device Testing: Hands-on testing experience with Android, iOS, tablets, and iPads.
· Accessibility Testing: Experience testing for accessibility compliance on mobile and desktop platforms, including the use of screen readers such as NVDA.
· Automation: Exposure to test automation using Selenium WebDriver, including writing and maintaining scripts.
· Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
· Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Design, develop, and maintain applications built on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) to support core payments processing. ? Contribute to the development of payment flows supporting transaction processing. ? Build and support integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems using enterprise integration patterns. ? Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. ? Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex, regulated environment. ? Collaborate with architecture, QA, and operations teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance. ? Support modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing payment hub capabilities. ? Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
