Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser to improve product presentation, showroom organization, and inventory visibility within décor and home furnishings environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating effective merchandising displays, organizing product categories, developing showroom layouts, and ensuring products are presented in a way that maximizes sales and perceived value.
Responsibilities
* Design and maintain showroom displays and merchandising layouts * Create product vignettes and category-based displays * Improve customer flow and product visibility throughout the showroom * Ensure inventory is properly displayed, signed, and merchandised * Identify and implement opportunities to increase sales through visual presentation * Develop and execute seasonal merchandising plans * Maintain showroom standards, organization, and display quality * Coordinate display updates, product rotations, and new product introductions * Work with management to prioritize key products and promotional displays
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail merchandising, home décor, furniture, interior design, or a related field * Strong understanding of merchandising principles, space planning, and customer purchasing behavior * Ability to create professional product displays with minimal supervision * Highly organized with strong attention to detail * Proficient in planning, executing, and maintaining merchandising standards * Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
Preferred Experience
* Home décor, furniture, event décor, hospitality, or home staging industries * Experience working in large-format retail, showroom, or wholesale environments
Performance Expectations
* Increase product visibility across the showroom * Reduce undisplayed inventory * Improve overall showroom organization and presentation * Develop merchandising systems that support sales growth and premium product positioning
