*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food handling and meal preparation. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. * Ensure all food is prepared in a safe manner, following proper food handling procedures. * Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. * Assist with menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment. * Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. * A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.
