We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Jr Purchaser to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization has the materials, equipment, and services needed to operate efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of building strong relationships with suppliers while supporting the overall success of our operations.
*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Build & maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers * Forecasting business needs * Delegation of tasks to team members * Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely & accurate fulfillment * Coach & train team members
*YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:*
* Strong negotiation, communication and people skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Aptitude in problem-solving * Detail-orientated with excellent organizational abilities * Strong analytical skills * Manufacturing purchasing experience * Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
