*Job description*

We are looking for *a Line Cook *who can add value to our culinary team

You should have at least *3 years? experience* in an extremely fast-paced kitchen environment, with the right mix of training and related culinary education

* Confident culinary techniques and skills * Good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead * Strong organizational and time management skills * Punctual and discipline to ensure optimal work performance * Physically able to stand for long hours every day in a hot kitchen * Strong focus on service and food preparation. * Passion for delivering great food and service. * Multitasking and organizational ability. * Ensure standard recipes and procedures are followed. * possess a positive "guest first" approach * Ensure station is clean, well-supplied, and organized * Ensure par levels in your station are maintained * Use of FIFO principles

Responsibilities:

* Prepare, season*,* and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required * Follow recipes and presentation specifications * Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. * Keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary. * Stocktaking and ordering supplies. * Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback. * Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required. * Opening and closing the kitchen as required * taking pride in every dish that is served

Requirements:

* Qualification from a culinary school or equivalent work-related experience * Past experience working in a similar role. * Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment * Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation. * Available to work long hours, shifts during weekends and holidays.

You should be a high-energy, upbeat professional who takes pride in their work and wants to work as part of a talented lean team, in a great environment.

Full-time position, wages will be commensurate with experience. Our kitchen tip out is among the highest in the industry due to the volume that the brewery generates

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
