Job Description Role: Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect
Hybrid (Tue-Thurs 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM EST)
Primary Skills:
· Strong expertise in Azure IaaS services and networking.
· Experience with Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Firewall, DNS).
· Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
· Experience with security and compliance frameworks.
· Understanding of hybrid cloud environments.
· Ability to interpret and extend existing architecture designs.
Role Overview
The Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect focuses on designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions on Azure. This role often works from existing high-level architecture diagrams and transforms them into detailed infrastructure designs.
Key Responsibilities
? Design Azure infrastructure including networking, compute, and storage solutions.
? Translate high-level architecture diagrams into detailed infrastructure designs.
? Define virtual network architecture, connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute), and security.
? Design identity and access management strategies (Azure AD, RBAC).
? Implement disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
? Select appropriate IaaS services (VMs, Scale Sets, Load Balancers, Storage).
? Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and cost optimization.
? Collaborate with solution architects and operations teams.
